Happy Birthday Chan. I know it's a day early. I have been thinking about it all week though. My birthday gift to you is letting you know what your three wonderful cousins are up too now. It has been awhile since I updated you on all their shennagens. No, they are great. I will start with Marlee since she is the youngest. She is a real sweetie. Of course she is crawling , pulling up and it probably won't be long before she starts walking. Just like the rest , she loves when we have the music on. Her eyes light up. I have been playing a song, Every move I make , to get to know it for children's church and all three love it. One day I was singing it and at the same time she and Garrett both looked at me and then over at my CD player. They must have both thought it would sound better if I played it . Before she could really crawl, Garrett would go over to her and when he would go to leave, she would grab his shirt and not let him go. He would look at me for help. It was funny. They all three had a great day today. They do most days. They played together. Of course Savannah tries to boss them around a little , she thinks she the mother. Seems to sound like someone else I know. Yes, you know who I mean. Marlee also has those beautiful blue eyes and it looks like she is going to have red hair. Yes, that is what I said, red. It will be gorgeous though. On to Garrett. He's a real corker. He's funny as well. Fun to be around. They all are a joy. He's is saying so many words. You should hear him say your Mom's name. DeeeDa. He says so clearly. Loves to play with balls. He even thinks toy apples are balls. Anything that is round. He can throw pretty good though. Bless his little heart . His teeth are bothering him so bad. Today wasn't to bad. Yesterday he had a hard time with them though. He couldn't get to sleep. He is always smiling . Just like Marlee and Savannah , his eyes light up when he smiles. Nothing as great as smiling eyes. He's the one Savannah bosses the most though. Today he tore a page out of a book and I had to tape it. It wasn't the first time I tape a page in this book. Kids like it and lilttle tears come about from all the the turning of the pages all the time. Savannah asked what happened and I told her. She said I should spank his butt and as she said it she preceded to do just that. Not hard. I told her it wasn't necessary to do that. He is going to turn the little girls heads. He is a cutie. There are so many things that they do , I can't think of them all. I should write down little things so I remember them when I talk to you. On to Savannah. She is something else. She considers herself in charge. Just like the other two she keeps me laughing. She is as smart as can be. She will be a good teacher to the younger ones. She can count to 20. Gets 16 and 17 mixed up or goes straight from 15 to 17 or 18. Has learned alot more songs. She talks very well for her age. Not only that but uses different phrases and words at the right time. Her concept of the meaning of words is very good for her age. She has learned a lot of more songs. Guess what . She is pottied trained. Every time she would go, she say , good girl Nannah. I guess now that she is trained she smells the other two pretty quick. She was on the floor today and Marlee rolled over and her bottom got in Savannah's face. She said Marlee stinks and made a face. She talks about you Chandler. We won't let her forget you. Marlee and Garrett will definitely know about you and how sweet you are. There is so much Chan, but I know I have gone on so long and people must think I am crazy by now. I sure hope you like my birthday present to you. I love you Chan. Lots of love, hugs and kisses. Squirt, it is August 4th, and tomorrow you will be three. I can only imagine how you look, how big you are, and of course, how beautiful you are! You were the perfect addition to mommy and me, and on days like tomorrow, life is not worth living because the pain of being without you is so great. I'd give EVERYTHING to have you here again with mommy, me, 8ball, and soon, a new baby! The day that we will be reunited is not soon enough, darling; and unfortunately, mommy and I have to press on. I can only pray that the new baby has all your qualities and more. YOU ARE ABSOLUTELY PERFECT CHANDLER RAE, AND I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD HAVE A CHILD LIKE YOU. Just wanted to tell you that I miss you! You're the cutest and most precious little girl! I was remembering the time at your Aunt Nik Nik's when she had her baby shower. You and Savannah were eating and dropping food everywhere and Nik Nik was going crazy trying to pick up after the two of you. It was soo funny! Everyone was tired by the end of the night, except you and Savannah. Mommy, TT, and Nik Nik pooped out and you, Savannah, and I played. I had so much fun swinging and tickling the two of you. Oh, and playing peek a boo. You two really are little angels!! You guys finally got tired and I went home!! Just wanted to share my favorite memory of you!! I love you girl!! See you soon!!

Hey baby! I miss you so much! This past week brought up so many of the same feelings of losing you all over again..just like last year at this time! It is so hard to go through this all over again! Me & Daddy took a couple of days away to breathe and have some peace( as much as possible) and it did us a lot of good...we need it more often! We miss you so badly and as I type this now, words cannot ever explain the depth of pain and emptiness we feel without you....no human can ever understand unless they have lost a child also...I am so ready to see you, but I understand God has much more work for me & Daddy to continue doing. Everyday I miss you! Everyday is never the same...ever..ever again...Everyday I want to hold you and love you, but I can only do that through my spirit and yours now, and that is such a blessing to have us connected this way, but of course, I want more! You are EVERYTHING to me and Daddy and I know you hear us and see how we are living and how we miss you so badly...thank you for always picking us up on our hardest days and for being there to lift our spirits and give us hope EVERYDAY! Life (on this earth)isn't ever going to be the same again and I think that is the HARDEST fact to face..but I thank GOD that I do have the reassurance that I will and we all will hold you again and our family will all be together again in heaven! Hey there Sweetgirl. Just wanted to let you know how much we miss you and are thinking of you often. I wanted to keep you update on your precious cousins. Garrett is walking so much now. He just has to learn how to get up when he falls without holding on to something. It won't be much longer till he masters that. He is so cute and precious, so huggable, just want to eat him up. He is always smiling . I heard the story of him waking up in church. He loves to clap and while he was sleeping, everyone was clapping and it woke him up. As he was half asleep, he started clapping. Aunt Nik Nik said she and Wyatt were laughing and trying not to laugh out loud. I can imagine what he looked like and it makes me smile thinking of it. Of course Savannah tries to drag him around by his shorts to get him where she wants him to be. I have to step in and save him. She loves him dearly. He was out sick last week . Friday he came back. As soon as Savannah came he went over to give her a kiss. He had missed her. I am sure he missed Marlie. He is a little jealous of her if I am holding her. So I have to sit on the floor at times and assure him there is room for him. Then after a couple of hugs and kisses he goes on his merry way. He is such a sweetie. Savannah is growing so much and I don't mean just in height and weight. She is so smart. I swear she can sing a hundred songs. I know that is exaggerating a little, but that is to let you know she sings alot. She is so funny. She is always making me laugh. One day this week Mr Glenn came home for lunch to see the Savannah, Garrett and Marlie. You know how he would drop in to see you all. As we were eating, Savannah pointed to the light and told him to look. As he looked up, she reached over on plate and took a French Fry and started to eat it. I asked her daddy who taught her that. He didn't know. Then I remembered later that Mr. Glenn did that to her one time. One time and that is all it takes for her. SHE FORGETS NOTHING. THe other day she was wetting her hair down with water from her cup and kept saying, AM I pretty and I said yes. She looks at me and says do you want to look pretty? Where she gets thes ideas , I don't know. She keeps things interesting and it is never boring. Reminds me of someone else. Yes I mean you. Marlie is growing like a weed. SHe is 6 months now. Time goes by so fast. She is such a good baby. Always smiling, just like Garrett and Savannah. You were always smiling as well. You can tell you are cousins. It shouldn't be long before she is crawling. You can tell she wants to. Once she figures out how to get those knees and hands to work together, she will be all over the place and getting into things. Then she will be trying to climb. That is what Garrett is trying to do now. That makes me nervous. Guess I am getting old. Chandler, just wanted to talk to you and let you know what is happening. Hey Chandler. I have been wanting to talk to you for a long time. Part of me didn't want to make your mommy and daddy sad, but your mommy assured me that reading the tributes helps her heal. Your mommy and daddy are doing great , but I know they definitely have there tough times and dearly miss you. The 27th of February was a tough week for me. That was the day Marley started coming here. She, Savannah and Garrett are all here. All I could think about was that you should be here with them. I just could imagine the mischieveous things you and Nannah would get into while I would be tending the babies. You would be proud of Nannah. She hovers over them. She even tries to drag Garrett to get him where she wants him to be. Well , I really don't let her drag him but an inch. I get here before she can. Between the two of you , you could have had Marley and Garrett all over the house. :). Marley is doing so good. She looks like Nannah. She is always smiling. Garrett is growing like a weed. I think he is a little jealous of Marley, you know coming in and trying to take over his territory. :). Nannah is always making him laugh. She is trying to teach him his colors with the pompoms. You all are such happy babies with beautiful smiles and eyes that are bright and looks like the eyes are smiling as well. I see you all over my house. The memories are sad and happy all at the same time. Nannah talked about you the other day. She wanted me to play her pops cd. There is a song on it that he sings. It basically says when you get to heaven don't look for me in my mansion, Just find Jesus and there you will find me. She said , Chandler and I said Yes. Then she said Jesus. I said yes. Then she said in the sky. She said you and Jesus are in the sky. Your best friend hasn't forgotten you. I heard she even had a dream about you. Mr Glenn and I talk about you . Is Jesus giving you some helicopter rides up there? Remember when your hair bow got caught in the mesh of the play and pack. I thought you just wanted to get out. When I checked on you , you were sleeping and there was your hair bow. Your hair had slipped out of it. I felt so bad about that. I never let you go to sleep with a hair bow in your hair again after that. Guess what Chan, I am going to be a grandma. Yes I am. I will be watcing my grandchild. I can't think of anyone more I would want my grandbaby to be around and grow up around then, Marley, Garrett, and Savannah. THey all have wonderful parents and love the Lord and love their kids. Such an anointing for the baby to be around all that . The baby is due 6 Sept. By then, Marley and Garrett will be old enough to try to drag the baby where they want he/she to be. They keep me busy, busy. I love them all very much. I hope it doesn't sound like I am rambling on, but you know it does feel good to sit down and just talk to you. It is a healing . Thank you Chan for letting me get to know you. I am sure when the Lord calls me home that in order for me to find you , I will just have to find Jesus first. I am sure I will want to find Jesus first and will be happy to see you there. We will all watch and take real good care of your cousins for you. They are so precious. We will take care of your mommy and daddy. I know your aunts and uncles are definitely taking care of them. I'll try and keep you updated on the adventures of Nannah, Marley and Garrett. I wish I had something helpful or cathartic to say that would ease your pain if even just a little bit. All I can say is that I am truly from the depths of my soul, understand your pain and loss. Even though I had Aidan just for a moment, I Truley Believe no loss of a child is greater than another. I hope and pray that God gives you the strength, peace, and faith to survive this. I miss so much everyday but especially today. We have a new baby chick at our house that stays at our back door.
She is so sweet, she chirps and is so chipper and just follows us everywhere.
Her name is “Sunshine” because she brings us smiles from the sun; she is one of my memories of you. I talk to her and tell her thank you for being so sweet and chipper. Tyler says she is our remembrance of your love for chickens. So she stays close to our back door so she can be close to our hearts.
I know it is a part of you that says “Aunt Gail, I love you and. Heaven is Beatuiful! I will never forget you, I love you so much.
